Green waste from sheds and gardens goes on its own. Electricals are handled under WEEE rules. What's genuinely left over as general waste is usually a much smaller pile than families expect. It takes us longer to load a van this way. It's still worth doing, because you pay less and far less ends up in landfill. We hold back anything worth rehoming The second way we bring the cost down is by not treating the contents as rubbish in the first place.
