Furnished flats and student lets change hands every summer, and landlords and letting agents need them emptied quickly between tenants. We can clear the property and arrange a deep clean so it is ready to relet.

Flats bring their own problems: stairs, narrow hallways, communal areas and limited parking. We plan each job before we arrive, protect shared areas, and carry everything down ourselves. If you only need one or two things gone, such as a sofa or a wardrobe, we can often fit you in on one of our regular Devon runs, which keeps the cost down.

Why our clearances often cost less

Items of value recovered during a clearance (furniture, antiques, collectables, quality household goods) are passed back as a reduction in your clearance cost. In some cases, particularly where a property contains items of real worth, the clearance costs nothing at all.

We are based in Hayle, West Cornwall, and travel to Exeter regularly. Travel is factored into our quote and never added afterwards.

What happens to the contents

On average, we save around two-thirds of everything we clear from landfill on each clearance. Furniture, books, clothing, and household goods in reasonable condition are taken to our own resale channels or donated to local charities. What cannot be reused or donated is disposed of through registered facilities. We are happy to tell families exactly what happened to belongings.
