This is the simple one. You have bags of household rubbish and no way of getting rid of them. We come to your door, pick them up, and take them away. From £6 a bag, anywhere in Cornwall.
It covers the usual reasons people get stuck. A missed bin day that turned into three. A house clearance that left a pile of bags in the garden. Moving out, with more than the bin will ever swallow. Or a bin that has not been emptied in weeks and is now overflowing onto the path.
You do not need to sort anything, drag anything to the kerb, or be in when we come. If we can reach the bags, we can take them.
Cornwall only
This service is Cornwall only. We do not run it in Devon, and we would rather say so here than waste your time on a phone call.
Hayle is our base, so the west of the county is quickest. Penzance, Camborne, Redruth, St Ives and Falmouth are all regular runs. Truro as well. If you are somewhere else in Cornwall, ring and ask. The answer is usually yes, it just changes which day we are near you.
What the £6 covers
- Taking the bags out of your wheelie bin for you
- Wet bags, split bags, and bags that have been sat outside
- Any bagged household waste: general rubbish, clothing, kitchen waste, garden bags
- Loading, disposal, and your waste transfer note
Split bags are the thing people apologise for most. There is no need. We carry spare bags and double up on anything that has given way, so nothing ends up on your path.
What it does not cover
Construction and builders' bags are priced separately. Rubble, plaster, tiles and cement weigh many times what a bag of household waste weighs, and they go to a different site. Sending them out at £6 a bag would not be honest pricing.

What it costs
From £6 a bag. It is "from" rather than a flat £6 because two things move the price: a big load, and awkward access. Forty bags down a flight of steps is a different job from six bags by the gate, and we would rather price it honestly up front than quote £6 and change our mind on the day.
For most people it is straightforward. Ten bags works out at roughly £60, collected within the week. You get the price before we book anything in, and it does not move after that.
Your waste transfer note
Every collection comes with one. It is the paperwork that shows where your waste went and who took it, and it matters more than most people realise.
Under the duty of care rules, whoever produced the waste stays responsible for where it ends up. If bags with your name in them turn up fly-tipped, the Environment Agency comes to you first. We are registered with them, EA registration CBDU590448, and the note is your proof. Keep it somewhere safe.
It all goes in one run
Bags go straight in the van, not into a trailer left on your drive for a fortnight. One visit, everything gone, path swept behind us.
Bagged household waste gets sorted at our end wherever there is something worth pulling out of it. Clothing and textiles in particular rarely need to go to landfill, and we take those out before the rest is tipped.

We lift the bags out of the wheelie bin, load everything, and hand you the waste transfer note.
Yes, we empty the bin as well
This is the bit people ring up to check, so it is worth spelling out. If the bags are still in your wheelie bin, we take them out. You do not need to haul them onto the drive before we arrive.
The bin is left empty and back where it was, ready for the next council collection.
Questions we get asked
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get to the bags. Leave them by the gate, round the side, or in the bin, and tell us where they are when you book. We will send you the waste transfer note afterwards either way.
Will you take the bags out of the bin?
Yes, that is included. You do not need to empty the wheelie bin onto the drive before we arrive. We lift the bags out, load them, and put the bin back where it was.
What if the bags are wet or split?
Still £6. Wet bags and split bags are most of what we collect, so there is no need to apologise for them. We bring our own bags and double up on anything that has given way, so nothing ends up on your path.
Is there a minimum?
No. We will come out for a single bag if that is all you have, and it is still £6. Most people ring once a few have built up, but you do not have to wait for a pile before you call.
Do you cover Devon?
No, this service is Cornwall only. Our house clearance and construction waste work does cover Devon, but bin bag collection does not.
Do you take builders' bags?
No, not at this price. Rubble, plaster, tiles and cement weigh many times what household waste weighs and go to a different site, so they are priced separately on the construction waste clearance page, where loads start at £50.
What can go in the bags?
Any bagged household waste. General rubbish, clothing, kitchen waste and garden waste are all fine. What we cannot take bagged is builders waste, paint or liquid chemicals, gas bottles and tyres.
